Labour Law UAE has been modified and updated very beautifully with the passage of time. Therefore it protects the rights of employees as well as employers. Employees are provided with many options, rights and facilities by Labour Law UAE.
In case of any dispute, employees may contact the HR department or the Legal Department initially. These departments are supposed to resolve the dispute between the employee and the employer. Well, if you are working for an LLC company then you can complain to MOHRE. If you are working in a Free Zone company then there would be an authority inside the Free Zone, where employees have to lodge the complaint. Once the complaint is lodged, then both parties are called for negotiations.
If the matter is not resolved, or either party is not convinced then this complaint is referred to Court where it becomes a Court Case. Here it comes to the point where the employee becomes the plaintiff and they can pursue the Case in Court.

After the verdict in your favour, the Court also awards you the legal expense and a legal interest which is an award indeed. Though these are the options of the courts, which they have to decide anyhow they can also be awarded.

When the complaint becomes a Court Case and a Court Case number is generated then this phase is called a Court Level where the lawyer is the one who is supposed to represent the client, who might be the complainant or defendant as well.
He is the one who is authorised and licensed for legal representation. Do not go to the franchise type of small law firms or the freelancer lawyers. You must choose Emirati Law Firms and Emirati Labour Employment Lawyers.
